| Scott Duncan—Director |
 |
From his early childhood in the Virgin Islands, to his Emmy award winning cinematography, Scott Duncan has continued on a path of amazing locations and stunning images. With a camera always at hand, he constantly explores new methods of filming, cutting edge equipment, and innovative visual tools. Educated at the School of Visual Arts in New York with a BFA in Photography, his continued journey as artist and storyteller led him to cinematography and has evolved quite naturally into directing.
The Kalahari, Palau, the Amazon... a few of the epic locations that have been captured by Scott’s lens while branding the main titles for the hit show Survivor. Exotic locations, however, are not the only inspiration for his best work. It has always been Scott’s instinct to dwell in the comfort zone of those he photographs. Playing football with Snoop Dogg, walking the farm with Martha Stewart, or golfing with Donald Trump, result in eloquent photographs that are simply the result of people at ease.
With high expectations of his work, Scott’s goal remains "CUSTOM, EPIC PASSIONATE" Those who work with Scott know these words are his mantra. If they don’t apply, the camera does not roll.
2005 moved Scott’s direction further into the commercial arena with projects for Ford, ADM, JBX, and a chart hit music videos for the new INXS singles “Pretty Vegas” and “Afterglow”. |
